This trap has been scientifically developed as a non-chemical alternative method of trapping and killing flies, their larvae and eggs. A specially developed natural bait is placed into the trap and water is added. After a few days the bait will ferment and flies will be attracted. Once they enter the trap through the funnel there is no escape and they drown. The more flies that enter, the more will be attracted. It should be placed where flies gather, near dustbins, animal sheds or stables. It should be hung no higher than six feet from the ground. Where animals are likely to be in close proximity the trap should be placed out of their reach, as ingesting the plastic components could be harmful. The bait is non-toxic and non-poisonous.Dispose of the trap contents in the compost heap or dustbin and re-cycle the plastics.
Outdoor Wasp Trap
Using the same design and principle as the flytrap, the wasp trap uses a different natural attractant. Although many people look on the wasp as a threat, it carries out a vital role in the pollination of flowers and crops. Microtech wasp traps are designed for areas such as pub gardens, patios and other areas where the wasp can be seen as a nuisance. They are not designed to destroy the nests but can help to make an area safer for the general public.
Indoor Fly Trap
Flies spread disease amongst humans, animals and vegetation indiscriminately and attempts to solve the problem have met with limited success. Insecticides have a detrimental effect on the environment, as they will contaminate the food chain as well as being potentially carcinogenic. Our flytraps provide a low cost, non-toxic, non-chemical and ecologically sound solution to the problem.With the European ban on some 52 insect sprays and killers, we have developed the indoor flytrap. It uses a variation of the bait supplied with the outdoor trap but in far smaller quantities. Flies are attracted into the attractive plastic housing and are caught on a proprietary non-setting adhesive. As the dead flies are not open to view they do not present an unsightly reminder of this annoying pest.This product comes ready to use.
Cockroach Trap
The cockroach is a known carrier of diseases such as typhoid, tuberculosis, salmonella, dysentery, gastroenteritis and many other stomach and gastro-intestinal complaints.
